The only thing I didn't like about the Convertible was the bridge. :idk:

I love these two bastards. I have heavy flatwound strings on the 1448, which sounds massive. The Convertible has stupidly heavy roundwound strings and is tuned to B(ish) standard. Dooms like a motherfucker, skronks like Marc Ribot.

I had a Malt Shop Creme 90's U2 with the wooden bridge/saddle. Loved it, sounded like no other guitar I have had, super clean, feedback all day when you crank the gain.

i want a convertible pretty bad but I love my 1448.
