I'm sorry man, all the kids you must have to deal with looking for the Kurt Cobain starter pack.

well luckily i'm a tech, so it's just dealing with people that don't understand their instruments that gets me riled up.

Do you have any examples of other songs that feature some of the ideas you're trying to implement?

Ditto x2 can be great with the secondary switch dropping shot into reverse or half time.

That was Tera Echo + ODB3 that I slowly turned the vol down. Shit builds nice and you can keep adding more stuff to create cute noise.
that sounds pretty epic! very similar to what i want.

i'll definitely check out the tera echo and dd-500 next time at work.

no 9v dc on the lo-fi loop junky?
You can use the little battery clips!! Just drill a hole in the bottom plate

I have a little 4 oscillator drone synth that I keep on my board for just such an occasion.
I keep it on an A/B at the beginning of my signal chain, and just switch it inline with my pedalboard while I tune/set up for the next song.

i do not have any examples. what im going for is noise between songs during live sets, none of this would ever be recorded on an album.

drilling out a $300+ pedal's enclosure, uhh...

so far i'm stilling digging the ct5 the most.

slicer is nice, but it's a bit big. definitely have to get a bigger board if i were to go that route in size.

Digitech Jamman Solo + pedals. Use the Jamman as a sampler- save loops into it or snag field recordings/quotes/ random shit from the internet. Run that into pedals. Pro- reproducible.

good point. i have the distinct impression that the ct5 does not save loops.

Jamman Solo is expandable with an SD card and you can store loops to the card. Plus 1/8" aux in, you can hook it up to the phone/tablet headphone jack and load up whatever silly shit you find on the World Wide Web. ;)

CT5 and one of those drone synth beep boppin pedals from mattoverse would be a good combo for this.

i think im def gonna get a ct5, then maybe get a looper as well like new new jam man or a boss rc to save the soundscapes i'll be making. still leaning towards getting a dd-3 or similar for versatility to throw in front of the ct5.

Zoom G3 or B3 can be had for around 100ish and you can chain 6 effects (only 3 with B3). Or one of the Zoom MS multis

Seriously. I know it's piling on, but Ct5 is the answer. Could do interesting soundscape stuff, lots of movement, variability, immediate exp control.

I use oscillating fuzz, pitchfactor, bitquest and Ct5 for this stuff.
