I really like the alternate color pitchblacks. They haven't come out with a purple one though, as far as I know.

Yeah Korg Pitchblack is the one for me. More accurate and quicker than boss tuners, never had a footswitch issue like the TC Electronic stuff, display is large and bright.

Boss TU2 and a Korg Pitchblack. Because you can't play black metal without a Pitchblack.

I have been using a clip on Super Snark lately. I have been limiting myself to a smaller board (8 pedals max) so my TC Polytune 2 mini doesn't get much use. I hate tiny pedals anyways then never stay put on a pedal train.

At rehearsal last night, I was travelling light (no board) and forgot my clip-on tuner. I tuned up with the bassists tu2, then by ear a couple of hours later and it was otherwise fine.

I bought a Sonic Research Turbo Tuner to replace my TU-2 and tbh I think it was a stupid move. The TU-2 does the job perfectly. Pitchblack seems good as well. Anything else is just gilding the lily.

got a tu-3 on my board and a tu-3 kicking around my house. i use clip on snarks as well as a tu-3 at work.

often times i'll just tune the guitar to itself though, it's easier than plugging in and my shit's all setup so it doesn't go very far out of tune on its own.
