Any of AMT's tube amp emulating, or tube preamp pedals.
Cannot stand my Sansamp for anything but In Utero distortion.

How do you use yours?

I've been neglecting my toob amps in favor of a dual solid state setup because shit sounds so good. FuzzHugger's Doom Bloom, my man. It does a body good.

I have a tube amp, but it doesn't have much power, and I've been inspired by 80s punk lately which has a lot of dirt boxes into solid state amps, or even right into the board.
I sold a fuzz and impulse-purchased a Maxon D&S for big fuzz. I've had generally good luck with muffs and solid-state - you get some bite in the low end that you don't get with tube amps. I've also got a ZVex Fuzzolo, which also sounds better into a cleaner amp. I definitely want to do the J Mascis thing where the amp is clean, and the fuzz is loud and last in the chain, to take advantage of all the headroom.
Now I'm messing with overdrives. I've got a nice Black Forest clone that ILF-er ianmarks made me. It's great, but a little dead sounding on its own with a solid state amp, (but great for driving pedals, or amp overdrive), LPB clone and a TS9 clone. None of them are quite right. Maybe never play clean, other than super-clean?
I wish I could remember what I played when I lived in NYC. I'd always make a beeline for the JC-120 in the practice rooms cuz the tube amps had a tendency to be fucked up. I think it was an orange Guyatone mini-od.

I could see a doom bloom into my Acoustic 150 being absolutely ferocious. Part of me wants to go full 80s hardcore and just run a Distortion+ into it.

I used my original set clean to add some warmth and tube feel to a Fender London Reverb I had. It sounded pretty damn good to me at the time. Usually on the Rhythm setting. I always tend to prefer it with the Mid Boosts on, and Low Drive on also.

ADA APP-1 - excellent dynamics, takes pedals well but needs a strong input signal and highs can get shrill if inserted in the input of the amp

I dig HM2’s into solid state stuff, DOD BiFets make a great preamp for solid state and add some drive. A used Elements is also a great idea.

Hey, I've been a solid state fanatic for close to a decade after getting rid of my big tube amps. My favorite dirt sounds come from stacking two . An LPB-1 will take any decent overdrive or distortion to the next level. The DOD Boneshaker works well driving other things as well since it can darken up a bright pedal or brighten up a dark pedal. Hot Tubes, Distortion +, LPB-1, Boneshaker, Angry Troll, SD-1, The Glove, Rat, and Fat Sandwich are all cool in one combination or another. I can't think of all my dirt pedals right now though or else I'd have more suggestions.

It’s more versatile than that, but that’s absolutely what I’m using it for. It also takes reverb in front of it really well at lower gain settings too, sounds great for shoe gazey stuff.

HM-2 at low gain with a BiFet clone in front of it is what I use, into an HH IC100 at our practice space. Both for bass and guitar, I just turn the tone knob on the BiFet low for b and high for g. Also a SS/BS Fuck works good with solid state. Used to have an Acoustic (220 I think) at the space, and a Skychord Truck Loud in front of that sounded massive.
