I love this idea. We could board-source theme songs and shit for each episode. Pedal demos/reviews and interviews would be amazing.

Into this idea, would make for good listening while doing things that don't require full attention and don't warrant total silence.
Having a little theme/jingle type thing that each interviewer adds to as it gets passed around could be fun. I mean it would be harsh noise by the third person, but until then it could be fun. Maybe.

Interested...
yes you just need a granular delay set to the golden ratio

Okay, so here's what I've jotted down:
1. The interviewer picks his interviewee. I think the conversation will be more interesting that way, as the interviewer clearly wants to ask his subject certain questions. it also creates a different dynamic and feel between episodes.
2. The interviewer is in charge of making a little intro jingle and segment jingles (see point 4), so these will change from episode to episode.
3. The interviewee can play a song they've made or have permission to play at end of the podcast.
4. Returning segments. Could be desert island questions, would you rather/dilemmas, "(gear) story time" etc. Let's find some good ones together.
5. Interviewee interviews the next person.
Yay? Nay?
In terms of releases, what can we pull off? Weekly? Bi-weekly? Monthly?
Name? ILFcast?

Weekly seems really, really ambitious.

yeah.
I'd say aim for bi-weekly, actually release one every 3 weeks. unless we can start building up a stock of them

Just need to make sure that this doesn't get to clique based or too inside jokey. Maybe start a list of people willing to be interviewed to give some options a little farther outside people's comfort zones. Some of the more interesting interviews are between people who see less eye to eye.

Interviewee interviews next person would probably be difficult.
Also, if we want non forum goers to listen then having a unifying intro theme may be a good call.

Agree with DRod about picking interviewees from a list of people who say they're interested rather than anyone you want. May get more interesting towards the end as people have to pick folks they know less.
I like the idea of returning segments and a unified intro but with all that it's starting to sound like a lot of work! It'll be tricky to make it work but I like the idea.
I'm willing to get involved interviewing/being interviewed but be warned my voice is annoying (at least I think so)

Everyone thinks their own voice is annoying, I think.

Yeah, it has to do with the way you hear yourself differently because of how the acoustics of your head work.
Took me forever to get around that unease sound-checking at work. Still hate hearing my voice recorded though. I sound like a slurry, sibilant, mumbling mess if you ask me. Also, apparently my
accident accent changes frequently depending on what I'm talking about apparently; may have to do with moving around so much when I was younger.

I'm going to piggyback on UC:
1. People interview each other (X person interviews Y, simultaneously H person interviews C Person)
2. The interviewer sends the audio to "the leader/ coordinator/ whatevs"
3. The leader puts them on the podcast.
so basically everyone does their own thing, continuously and then sends it in to the podcast GOD and the podcasts get published on a schedule
