faders for everything but amps and pedals. i fucking hate mixers with knobs.

Slide pots are a huge pain to clean and keep clean. Great for levels on a mixer but that's about it.

SLIDERSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

That immediate, no effort visual feedback. That smooth control you can have when smoothness is key. That ability for fine adjustment that, like knobs, is made easier the bigger they are. Sure they're a little more work for upkeep, but they're so pretty it doesn't matter.

that ibanez echo shifter was pretty fun...but the run away feedback was fucked! michael rucci drone slider is interesting...

Faders/sliders:

- Ya can tweak em with yer foot/toes
- Look cool
- You have better visuals of your settings. On a dark stage or whatever, it's not always that clear with pedals that have regular knobs.

But yeah, dust/durability is a thing, and so is accuracy I guess :idk:

Harmonic Percolator
ADSR envelope controls

Knobs/pots:
Parametric; shelving eq
Compressor controls
Guitar controls
Master volume
Resonant filters
Single-control pedal tonestack

I think the only real advantage knobs have is space. You can definitely pack more knobs than sliders into a confined space.

Pretty sure sliders are the preferred method for those that are required to wear helmets when they venture outside.
