Im in Stockholm, but I'm looking to study somewhere else and I'll need some friends/jamming mates. Phoenix Arizona is an option so if anyone's there I'd be cool

Akron-ish, OH.
I've never been to EQD even though they're not that far from me and do all sorts of public events.

Santa Rosa, aka north bay California. I know Waltdogg is in the east bay because we met up once.

I love the idea that I've seen mentioned earlier of some stickies regional threads. Obviously only a handful of spots could support it, but would be cool nonetheless. Place for shows and more locally relevant junk.

I'm in Overland Park, KS. Wish there was some closer folks. The meet up made me sad because I really enjoyed hanging out with everyone that came.

Oh hey!

I just saw this the other day on the social media. If the Portland Oregon folks still want to do a ILF meetup Folktek is involved with a performance space that would probably fit the bill:
https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php? ... 9334869450
We're looking to have some shows at our folktek headquarters - the impossible box in Portland, OR https://www.facebook.com/Impossible-Box ... 334869450/. That means art shows and events. If you're a visual artist in the area and might want to hang a show, please hit us up. We're willing to facilitate how we can. If you might want to play a music show, please send us examples. If you have a putppet show, dance performance, after hours party, etc. we want to know about it. Our venue is capable of housing 40 people comfortably - small and intimate with a bar. All music shows need ticket sales. We're also looking to start a bi-weekly ongoing music event preferably of the experimental kind. If anyone has insight, ideas or contributions or the ability/energy to get the thing going and keep it going, please hit us up. We have sound system, turntables, lighting, projector, space and love. many thanks!
