So there are three modes. Two of the three are not reallytime stretching, they just sample a small chunk of sound and play that little sample back until the next sample is recorded. The third program is really time stretching. The buffer size is only one second unfortunately but you can make it stretch super long, to the point of freezing the sample.

Akin to a delay hold? Or the nonpitched hold of the Charlie Foxtrot or the Revolver? Or something else entirely? I'm assuming that the first part of the sample was these two modes. It was very pleasing to hear. Instant vaporwave.
What differentiates the first two modes from one another?

hm...not really like either of those. It samples chunks of audio at a constant rate. That rate can be controlled by one of the knobs. The first mode is choppy and harsh, the second mode is smooth
that whole clip was mode 1, choppy

Oh, nice. It sounds so gooood. I can't wait to hear the other modes. Slightly embarrassed that I mistook the sounds in that clip for a demo of it all.
Thanks for being willing to respond to my presumptions.
With your help, soon we can do this:

This sounds cool. The thing I always end up wanting in these type of glitch-y effects are trails. I always wish the glitching wouldn't stop so abruptly when the you turn them off but maybe that's just me.
(and for "freezes" the fact that with the Superego attack and decay are controlled by the same knob is super annoying).

Here are some quick clips of the additional modes
https://soundcloud.com/tom-majeski/smooth
https://soundcloud.com/tom-majeski/forward-stretch
https://soundcloud.com/tom-majeski/ping-pong-stretch
as you can kind of see the time stretch stuff isn't so great for looping but more for interesting background textures.
Theres also an envelope controlled version of the choppy mode (the first clip I posted) and a reverse time stretch mode.
