The sound is actually pretty decent when the gain is maxed out (it gets pretty massive)... the problem is really from zero to around 3 o'clock, either no sound comes out at all (0 to 11 o'clock) or the sound is farty and broken... :idk:

I started trying to measure a few values with a cheap multimeter I got this afternoon...
Still learning how to use, but I managed to read a few resistor values. However for R2 (supposed to be 6K8) reads -7,67 and -8,85 when read from underneath the pcb... :wha?:
Haven't gone through all the resistors yet...the few first ones I read seemed normal...

Here are the current values I gathered from the capacitors with all the knobs around noon :
C1 = 0,93
C2 = 0,39
C3 = 0,98
C4 = 3,85
C5 = 4,99
C6 = 0,04
C7 = 0,03
C8 = 1,98
C9 = 0,07
C10 = -1,45 (negative?)
C11 = 1,87
C12 = 0,01 (very unstable at first, kept going down, then stabilised around 0,03, then 0,01)
C13 = 0,36

not quite sure how to measure the transistors yet...

Are those all voltage readings?

What kind of meter did you get?

It's funny, I've recently come across a negative voltage point in a 0 to +9 volt build as well.

I bought this

I set it to voltage 20 and those are the readings I got
Do they seem to make sense to you? C10 and C12 struck me as a little odd, but then again I don't really know what I'm doing...

Swing the knob down to the ohm range and measure the 6K8, you'll want to set the dial to 20K.

Regarding voltage readings, what you have provided is meaningless to me, not having one to poke around.

After resistors: black lead to common, connected to ground set on DC volt (the one with the solid & dotted line) 20 range, read each leg of each transistor.

I'm packing out for a show, so forgive me if it's a day or so before I can reply again. Cheers!
