Bought'd :)

Played it at the seller's place (huge, awefull sounding room), haven't had a chance to plug it since I took it home.

Sounded a bit boxy and compressed, which didn't at all surprise me considering I'm used to playing a Traynor YBA-1 and 4x12 exclusively for the last 6 months or so. What I'm NOT used to though, and like a lot: A ton of dirt at reasonable volumes, and no back aches when carrying the amp from my car to my house, and up the stairs to the first floor :)

Btw, that one pick just reignited my GAS for an harmonic percolator damnit
That enclosure looks WAY too secksy to settle for a much more board friendly Frederic Effects clone :(

Oh I see. Fooled me :idk:

Still $300 :(

Actually just found a place that sells vaguely similar looking enclosures. Those fader pots are easy enough to come by too I guess.

Winters get dark and wet around here. Two of everything (enclosures & pots) to build me a HP as well an FM-2 could me a nice way to keep me bussy untill March :)

Edit: Gave the new combo a good test run in my living room. The honkyness must've been the room, and probably partially the old dull sounding strings on my jazzmaster too. Awesome little amp, with a nice really useable range on the tone control, I don't at all mind the lack of a full blown eq. I find myself riding the vol and tone controls on my guitar more often than usual, but it works like a charm to make my bridge pu sound a bit darker, or the neck a bit less dark. The gain seems to make everything spound a bit dark/muddy, but with both tone controls (amp and gtr) dimed it sounds perfect to me. Or at least as 'perfect' as an amp this cheap can probably get :)

Zero regrets so far, but I haven't tried the 15Watt setting yet, and I haven't tried any pedals either, besides my Kilobyte. The Kilobyte loves the tt's gain it seems. Sounds a bit like as if it was ran through a (good) effects loop. I've had meh experiences with amp dirt and delay peds, this combination sounds surprisingly juicy :)
