That Deep House Dish thread title is a joke--it's just an electronic music thread. Although deep house is fucking great.

When I think of Electro, I think of older 80s/90s stuff. Drexciya's probably my personal fave.

Justice is pretty rooted in French house stuff that really got going in the 90s. Etienne de Crecy is great if you feel like checking that out--his Super Discount records rule, especially the first.

actual, do you have a favorite of the boys noize albums? just curious.
Dude, I'd love to see your stuff. As I've mentioned before, I recognize you from vse, which is a forum I've been browsing for like 10 years. No amount of gear could make me feel disgust (not the type of stuff I'm guessing you've got anyway). I'm only just beginning to build up my arsenal now, but my dream is definitely to own a studio featuring a plethora of synths, outboard, fx, etc worth a luxury car. Priorities you know. Anyway, post your studio dude!

As for Boys Noize, I'm really diggin his latest album Mayday, especially the track Rock The Bells - that kick is just crazy, and for the most part, Boys is all analog and 'vintage'.

With the recent spam attacks and new threads primarily consisting of questions asked a million times before, I feel ya.

But that's beside the point! You need to post here dude

nah it's a mess and will be for who knows how long since i moved and am now running a business. someday... right now it's mostly three drum kits, a bunch of amps and tons of pedals scattered on the floor. 606 and cs-01 are my living room buddies.

also, shit, spank rock is on the closing track of mayday. i'm not into much hip hop but love that guy. wish xxxchange would do another album w/ him. yoyoyoyoyo is by far my favorite of the spank rock releases.

edit: *sigh* i don't like that spank rock track on mayday. boys noize needs to quit it w/ the vocals already. those are the tracks i skip. they almost ALL suck.

i'm glad simian mobile disco have learned to cut that out.

606 n cs-01 seems like a nice combo! I'd still really like to see your collection and all, you could just pm me some pics? I'm a total sucker for gearporn.''

Only know Spank Rock by name, but the main contender on that track is HudMo!

Talking Justice, MSTRKRFT, Gesaffelstein, Oizo, Boys Noize, Kavinsky, etc. If so, can we get a thread going with recommendations and shit you guys like? I really need to broaden my horizon past Ed Banger and the likes. I'm not talking industrial, ebm, Kraftwerk/Moroder, so called EDM, trance, acid, chicago house, digital hardcore and stuff like that. Funkier stuff like Simian Mobile Disco and Breakbot is aight too.

their second was good for me, just completely different. more like some blend of prog rock (which i generally hate) and dance. it has a couple awesome tracks though.

didn't know they had a third out. thanks!
