beautiful.
overlays are annoying sometimes but. . . .
a) those look NICELY done
b) i am starting to memorize where the shortcuts are, so mebbe a less permanent solution is bettah
thanks Pimp Hand!

An overlay or skin is a good option.
A cheap, temporary option is the StageTrix pen. I haven't used these personally, but you'll want to test it on the bottom plate first to gauge how porous your enclosure is. (maybe try using a StageTrix pen on your overlay)
A permanent option would be paint pens with a fine/extra fine tip. (you just shake them for about 2 secs and then write) I've had good results with paint pens for several DIY projects.
StageTrix: $5-6 online
paint pens: $5-6 at local hardware & craft stores, $20 for a rainbow pack of 10 online
customized overlays: about $25

hurm. WHY NO PINK. that green.... is one of my least favorite colors ever.
this is an amazing review on Amazln though -
"This pen is so weird. It's great for adding laser beam eyes to pictures. It just comes off so easily long after you've applied it so you will occasionally find it on your hands or on your clothes. I felt bad about buying a $5 pen. But honestly, the thing does the job it's supposed to do very well.
I've used it on all my guitar pedals and my amplifier. Even if you're thinking that you change your settings often or goof around with them there's no reason not to just put in reasonable parameters. I often make two dots for the low and high extremes on the knobs. That way I know that something between those two dots is perfectly reasonable. If I go past those two dots it's going to make a sound I already know I don't like.
So this stupid pen has made me much more confident about my rig. If something sounds wrong, I know it isn't a problem with my amp. Or, I know exactly WHY it's a problem with my

I just print labels on paper. Cut out with scissors, apply with scotch tape.
