Just buy 4 $75 dirt pedals. Quadraphonic son.

I was about to say that Brandsmannen.
No way I'm buying it, and still expensive for what it is; but for stereo nuts, it plays nicely into their system.

Actually, correction, it's not stereo at all.
The extra jacks are for an expression pedal in and a toggle switch for the boost knob. You'd think they'd make the favorite external and the boost switch on the pedal itself.

Wow, Dadrock in a pedal, with preset!
Seriously though, even from Strymon that is quite a letdown.

Where's the switch for the Jesus Juice Boost?

To me this is the first let down after the OB1. However not to my taste, the rest was cool. I have a Timeline that I bought like 5 years ago on my board with a Multiswitch. To me it's what the DL4 always should have been.
Quadrature and Destroyer in a pedal, that's something I'd buy. I sometimes contemplate a Mobius just for those two

Yeah, for the most part, I think Strymon produces quality stuff. I love my El Cap. But the absurdity of a $300 normal dirt box with one preset that people are fawning over before even hearing it, like they were earlier this morning, drives me a little crazy.
Granted, we do the same for Montreal Assembly and Smallsound/Bigsound on this board. everybody's got their thing, but it is fun to mock the other camps.

I was fairly pleased with my 10-min Deco experience. It made the synth I was using sound much nicer. I don't own one because of the price, and Strymon's frustrating dealership policies. ----I imagine, though, that there are some hidden features under the hood, just like the Capistan and its siblings. One thing that I know of, that some may not be aware of, is that you can feed the Deco back into itself using the stereo jacks in order to further saturate your signal.
Returning to the Riverside, this is a total dud for me. The $299 price point is an absolute joke. $299 for digi-dirt? Give me a break. With $25 and a soldering iron, you could build a much more interesting dirt box at home.
