Electronic Sounds UFO wah was a surprising departure for me.

It even inspired me to break my no clone rule and trace the circuit (hangs head in shame).

All depends what you want to do with it, how you want it to sound and how much you want to spend. The issue with fuzz only rears its ugly head if you're using a Crybaby/Vox style wah (ie, most of them) with particular fuzz pedals - the Fuzz Face being the most notorious example. If you put the wah before the fuzz (and generally it's best to have a wah first in your chain), it'll sound horrible. But, as I said, it's only with particular pedals. Most silicon fuzz pedals and overdrive pedals will work just fine. An output buffer, like the Foxrox one suggested, is an easy fix. You can throw that in any Crybaby/Vox wah.

If you just want something that'll work, with a by-passable buffer (some folks, including wah gurus like Joe Gagan, don't like what buffers do to the sound) and a good variety of sounds, I'd go for a Blackcat Mona Wah (the Vintage flavour): http://www.blackcatpedals.com/black-cat-mona-wah/
If you want the best wah (with a built-in buffer), I'd go for a Castledine Standard Wah: http://www.wah-wah.co.uk/wahs.html
Pricey, but you won't find anything better.

A proven, but still controversial solution to this is to put the wah second in chain after your Fuzz Face. This method has a little known side effect of sounding really good.

Is the Cliff Burton wah meant to be a RI of the tel-ray wah? Anyone tried one with guitar+fuzz?
