Everything ihsahn does is awesome but Arktis is particularly awesome. Love it!
Leprous are great - Baard is a total machine. They have a live album coming out but they seem like the kind of band to totally overproduce a live album. We'll see.

If ya'll want something a bit more old school haken is still Aight, they are equals parts dear hunter and equal parts dream theater, minus the shitty vocalist.

Yeah, but Haken do that shitty god damned Camel 70s cardigan prog thing.
Still, the latest album was pretty rad. It was the least cardigan wearing of any of their previous albums.

Speaking of cardigan-wearing crap...
I like the drum tone and the drumming a lot on the tunes I've heard from the new album.
And I hate the guitars lyrics melodies and synths less than the last few albums so... Quietly hopeful?
