Glitchy arpeggiating bass fuzz heaven.

Bias sets the intensity (good spot there, further to the left, about the halfway point, makes it behave more like a high pass filter)

Resonance will set how often it glitches around.

FM will also control how pronounced the glitch effect is.

Gain 3 can be turned up for more fuzz altogether. Don't touch Gain 2, I find it makes everything sound like shit.

Frequency changes the sound altogether. Adjust to taste, but a distinct possibility you take out this glitch arpeggiation with it (I left it there).

Keep the Tri/Pent switch set upwards. Downwards takes out the effect. Same with the FM switch, needs to be downward.

I had a low gain 2, filter modes 2 and 3 up, and it ACTUALLY STARTED CHIRPING. LIKE BIRDS.

Going from some kinda gentle octavey, clangy intermodulating stuff to clean gain with a simple turn of the freq knob:

It's especially present on the E string 12th fret. Cool as a sublte effect that you could fade in and out with EXP

Happy to finally own this beast!! (Took a good while to get to Greece but it's worth the wait!)
Broken fuzz with ring trem as it fades away, or when strum lightly
The album rocks by the way

The album does rock, I listened to it again today on a bus ride. Love how well Pretty Years the pedal captures the sound and feel of Pretty Years the album.

Hi! I do think this pedal can sound very close to many distortion/fuzz pedals on the market.
Here are 2 settings I made based on some of pedals I've been playing or some time.
I'll try in the next days to do the same with : Fuzztone, Fuzzrite, Shin-Ei I have in my possession.
I play on a Jazzmaster AVRI w/ Dollar pickups through Hiwatt 50w combo from 1979.
Settings may be different for you, but it's to give you some ideas.

Thick and grindy, and each of the FM settings add either spitty or choked sounds (that's what those two extra footswitches do..)

Also I might've taken it apart and sandblasted it and the knobs. Relic'd/80's-ified

For a second I was gonna ask, "how the hell did you manage to get all that grime on it?"

Damn... idk if that's really cool or if I want to cry for it. It's definitely a commitment.
