Help!? should I buy this guitar or will it fall apart!

First impression: Yikes, fuck that lol.

I got the Paul II for under $500.... maybe $425. My first real guitar. Mom knocked it over while vacuuming, crack at the heel of the headstock. I felt bad about how bad she felt haha.

Was able to repair it with the help of my grandfather. Then stripped the ugly wine red and did a gold top refinance with help from my father. Chronicled on ILF somewhere.

Anyway, it'd a great guitar. I love the lighter weight and thinner profile/contour. Couldn't pick a better guitar to be "stuck with" as a back up.

I have GFS Mean 90's in it. I just hated that wine red color. Needed a pic guard too.

I'd say get a II over and original honestly though. Great budget guitars. Definitely Gibsons, overlooked and more pros than cons on the model.

At that price, I'd pass on it. It's gonna need some work and probably won't be worth it in the long run.
