has anyone ever known anyone that got pedals, or even a whole pedalboard stolen AT A SHOW?
I CAN think of A LOT of people that had various gear (amps, drums, guitars, pedals) stolen out of their vehicles....but as for pedals at the actual show...
I've been playing shows for over two decades & i've never seen, or even HEARD OF it happening.

Not, like, off the stage, but I've definitely seen some shit 'go missing' at squats and punk houses, etc.

I've heard of full vans of gear disappearing from venues while bands are on tour.

yeah, i mentioned stuff getting stolen from vehicles (i suppose the actual van would count, too

).
I think that as long as you're responsible with your stuff (don't leave it unattended - either at a venue, or in a vehicle) it is unlikely to get stolen. Crazy stuff happens, though. i would just take my chances & use what i like.

Didn't some dude post on here last year about his whole board being stolen while playing a gig in a church?

I used to have sort of a drinking problem and was bad at keeping track of gear. Luckily nobody ever wanted my shitty guitars etc. I don't know how many times I got calls the day after a gig letting me know I'd left my janky Ibanez somewhere in the bar. Have had cables and power supplies stolen but never pedals.

That's just those oppressed Christians exacting their revenge.

So basically a klon with the gain rolled off, a timeline set to slapback and a big sky in 24/7 shimmer mode?

Just buy a standard fuck and/or mini and use it to gig with and keep your custom fuck and/or mini at home?

i'm having a tough time choosing an overdrive w/ that. i don't wanna lose my fuck or mini that both have custom art. i don't wanna lose a dirge (even though i know skully could build it for me again). i don't wanna lose the sound shank i just picked up.
i dunno. just working on a new lineup and that's surprisingly one spot i'm having a tough time with.
maybe i should just save up and buy a stock ss/bs duplicate...
Dopefx Black Lotus. Lovley OD but cheap enough
