Which BuzzAround based fuzzes should one consider compared to the latest version of the
EQD Sound Shank?
Anyone had it and found something else they felt was better?
And how similar is the EQD Sound Shank to a straight-up BuzzAround ?
thanks

Honestly, i've never played or heard an EQD Sound Shank so i can't comment on that particularly but i do know that this Arc Crimson King that we've been speaking about is undoubtedly one of the best Buzzaround clones made. I recently discovered that Castledine is making a Buzzaround clone as well and i know that his clone might just blow the ARC pedal that i love so dearly out of the water. Castledine makes amazing pedals...top shelf stuff man...now i'm torn

EQD does make some good stuff however...i've never dabbled too much into their fuzz other than the Hoof and their Park Sound Fuzz, i definitely preferred the latter though. I'd think that if you didn't end up liking that EQD you could probably sell it pretty easily. Good luck man...sounds like we're kinda in the same Buzzaround boat

And is one of the nicest humans you will ever buy a pedal from. Builds a mean pedal too...

I made a few Buzzarounds based on FuzzDogs version. Used old Mullard transistors with various results. The one in the video kicked arse. I still have a batch of generic top hats.

If I were looking for a Buzzaround clone, I'd probably go either Arc Effects or Super Electric.
