Definitely that series of Ibanez pedals that had the the DML/10/20 and the weird black switches. There are a few delays, flanges, and choruses in there that always looked sweet.

I don't know, probably some old Boss stuff, if i thought of it.

The Buzz Box

Space Station is a good call. The Timebender, but with the volume fixed.

Came to add this, looks like Rusty just mentioned it:

Also yes, Lovetone would be rad.

I met that guy several times, and he was such an absent minded, mad scientist type (in a good way) that it's a wonder there was any consistency in any of it, haha. I dunno though—I still have my Lion and it's pretty rock solid, albeit probably his simplest offering.

I've seen a couple of these green ones sell for $85 on eBay in the past six months. I've seen the others selling in the $100-115 range as well. You just have to keep monitoring Reverb and eBay at the same time.

There aren't many pedals I want to see reissued, because I like them being esoteric and difficult to come by. Example: Lovetones. I don't want to see Vlad cashing in on the pedal game once again. He can continue in obscurity and that doesn't bother me at all. I'll pay $450 for a Doppelganger, instead of hoping that a reissued one comes along used for $300. I always thought the Ring Stinger and Wobulator were overrated (personally used both of them).

Is it slightly frustrating that a Lovetone ? Flange fetches $950-1250 on a bad day? Sure. Do I want to see them reissued, so that more are in circulation? Nope. Their customer service was always crap, and I don't really care to see a Lovetone comeback.

There are about 5 things I'd like to own, that I can't currently purchase: EMS Synthi Hi-Fli (authorized workalike is expensive and the waiting list is closed), Colorsound Dopplatone (not particularly valuable, but difficult to attain), Dearmond Tremolo Control (I could build one if I really wanted to), an Electra Psychedelic Machine (although a couple of clones have surfaced, they're rarely available), and a Carlsbro Mantis (although really a Boonar would probably be just as useful). It doesn't really bother me, though, if all my favorite rarities stay OOP.

There's also pedals like the Bi-Phase, but I can already get a ProphecySound that's smaller and quite possibly more reliable. The Pefftronics? Meh. I'd like to see an updated version that was more intuitive and had better controls. A straight-up reissue? Pass. The DMLs? Again, I don't mind them staying out of production. I like the idea of people having to do their own research and be pedal savvy, instead of just having all this stuff put into their laps through marketing and e-mail newsletters.

I know that they're all kind of the same tonally, but really - who wouldn't buy one?

I don't like it. It's a very bourgeois and entitled attitude.

True. They are just very nice looking design. The original pog too, most of those enclosures. What happened to EHX design...??

Lol, so you don't want expensive stuff you can afford reissued for some weird reason of keeping exclusivity on your sacred basement noodling toanz but want expensive stuff you can't afford to be re-issued...frickin toan nazi

I didn't say anything about economics or deliberately denying people from gear, but some things are rare because they're only truly appreciated by the eccentric. Therefore certain items remain sacred only to those who are truly passionate about the obscure and are willing to dedicate the necessary effort to investigate a particular discipline. That's not anti-Marxist; it's romantic and sentimental. One who treasures the esoteric due to a lifetime of exploration is not to blame for another's nescience.

Still my favorite pedal, even though I don't own one currently  - however, like most of the things I'd want to be reissued, it's the layout & ergonomics of the thing that is so pleasing to me, let alone what it can do within its limitations (so good!). Big boxes are so passé in the true bypass era of pedaltrains & nanoboards that I don't even think it would ever stand a chance. But along with a Big Muff or Rat & a volume knob, most people probably wouldn't need anything else on the floor (well.....maaaaaaybe a Judder :D ).

Year 4545 (all the knobs)
Ludwig Phase II
16SDD (closer to the original run?)
DBA Overloader
Seppuku Junk Tone

& otherwise:

EMS Synthi / AKS
Roland SH-101
Synare Drum Synth
LinnDrum
Billy Beer
the Chills - Brave Words LP

Dunno where the rest of this thread is headed, but really, it's just gear, people :bear: .

It's inherently fascist to deny someone something because you don't think they should have it. And it's incredibly bourgeois to praise something because it's exclusive to those who can afford it.

Bad reading comprehension and jumping to faulty conclusions on your part, Repo. I didn't say anything about my own purchasing power or lack thereof. I'm only slightly disappointed though. I still like you. :hello:

I don't want to live in an homogeneous society, where everyone has the same shit. That's how I feel. Let the rich have their toys and let the proletariat use his ingenuity to overcome any fiscal deficiencies. If some broke college kid wants to make a kickass EP and he can't afford a Lovetone ? Flange, then he should learn to solder or he should learn about tone-stacking to get the sounds he's dreaming of. If everyone already had everything, then why would anyone invent new shit?

The best art we'll ever have comes from alienation, exclusion, and feelings of inadequacy. I'm not trying to thumb the broke college kid down like a hole in the dyke. No, I just don't want to see the poor kids become the Kardashians. Fuck that. Division doesn't have to be a bad thing, if it ensures that all persons won't become enslaved by their privileges.

Iranian caviar doesn't need to be served at Burger King and ultra-rare pedals don't need to be rebirthed on an assembly line in China, so that broke baristas can finally live like oil barons. That's a shitty outcome, and I'd rather see creativity win out over an American Express card.
