Oh yeah, Psychic Vampire, are you familiar with vaporwave, vaportrap, etc.?
That could potentially be a goldmine. Let me know if you're interested and I'll post a lot of stuff.

I have a little bit of vaporwave on my computer for those modes. Vaportrap sounds made up, but i'll give anything a try right now. Bonus points for synths and drum machines, or bizarre, creeping influences of Boredoms and/or Enya.

The Goslings are great, and this song is sick.

Goslings are so sweet, damn.
How abt Pharmakon? She makes some harsh music, but it's structured in a particular way, might qualify as pop in a dystopian future wasteland?

Band of Susans were amazing.

I'm a big fan of the classic Bollywood stuff. It's pretty weird music for unaccustomed ears. It's not really noisy though.

I was listening to Bestial Burden real loud in the car yesterday. Everyone in this town thinks i'm a freak anyway. Gonna check out Band Of Susans later, have to go pick up a friend right now.

add Brainiac to the pile.
and Dirty Beaches, with that filthy surf drunk dialing Roy Orbison vibe.
Jenny Hval?
Bluetile Lounge was more slowcore than gaze, but had a great guitar sound, might be up someones alley.
whatabout Kim Gordon's new duo/band/project? That had sort of a summery california thing happening, while still bringing the guitar violence.
New Wet Kojak?

Haven't thought about Pinkish Black in a hot minute, otherwise a few suggestions i've not even heard of. Writing them down.
