FZ-1S, you say? You have my attention, sir! Clip sounds really nice, too.
I've always suspected Curtis Mayfield used an FZ-1S (or maybe an FZ-1B) for his gnarlier fuzz tones. Always wanted to get my hands on an OG.

I just recorded this clip for the people who were freaked-out by the rawness my first clip *cough* TGP *cough*:

>pffft< THOSE people.

Around here, I'm surprised that nobody's asked for a second footswitch to trigger oscillation, or an expression in to trigger a hidden delay circuit (pre-fuzz, of course).

That said: a) I digs it! and b) bass samples plz! Pretty plz!
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

I've been looking for a new "horn fuzz", and this may be a prime candidate.

Third the bass samples. Sounds raw and good.

Yep. :thumb:
Second demo sounds great and shows how it might hit that Curtis sound. Check the "Little Child" demo at around 1.30:

What's the rest of the signal chain?

Really liked the 7th and 8th settings. (and the 11th, 12th, and 13th, but I hadn't gotten that far at the time)

Also I like the [nearly] Sabbath Bloody Sabbath riff clip, too.
good deals are here.
flesh couch is here.

For most of the clips it is a Hagstrom Swede M > Carcosa > JCM800 > 4x12 w/V30's. For the clip I posted today it is the same chain just into a Vox AC30.

Wow, this sounds really good. Really dig the choice of circuit! Digitech should put out a bunch of unusual fuzzes under the DOD brand :joy: :joy:

Interested if one hits at the right price, I don't have a FZ-1 in the stash (never been a huge fan, but at that price having one for the rare times it'd fit in the drawer of fuzz ill repute wouldn't be bad).
