The Amp On Fire is on the list, but it's a long list, so can't give ya a due date at this time.

That's good enough for me.
I'd like it noted that I had an orgasm and a seizure between reading that and typing this.

We hope neither of those reactions caused any permanent physiological or neurological damage...

Necrobumping because I'd like to know if this is as appropriate thread to ask questions about retired pedals/one offs that are elusive and mysterious.

I could start another "i dont know how this MK pedal works but I bought it anyway" thread....which strangely enough, my question was answered correct randomly, but emailed question was put off with a promise... & finally when "we had a chat" instructions came my way, they were incomplete...leaving me to cry like a wounded cat until allisnoise saved the day.

I often buy shit with no idea and never bother to learn how to use it properly, and continue to just use it wrong.
Its kinda fun.
Basically i was gonna ask about rhe Ultra Megalith, what the seal was and whether or not we'll see it again.
My guess is a somehow even more heavier Megalith, but details are nice.

As a continuation of my post in the other thread, if my memory serves when I fairly recently discussed it with Alan he couldn't recall exactly what he had done differently, he just basically said "it's like the 'more heavy' switch is even more...". I've never used the standard Megalith to compare though so I couldn't tell you exactly how so, but it is intense. It ventures into territories where you can barely hear it yet it feels like your lungs are collapsing (bass guitar, mids cranked, standard tuning through 12's and 15's). As for other "retired" pedals I know there's a few that were experiments that he found years later and decided he was better off selling to fund new designs. A couple of those fit into the "no idea how it works but every switch is awesome" category

I'll probably be talking to him in the next week or two. I'll get some news about what he's working on!
