"Features:
40 millisecond to 1.00 second BBD Delay using NOS BBDs.
Largest dynamic range possible from a BBD Delay using -15V BBD ICs.
Tap Tempo footswitch control of echo delay time with tempo rate LED.
Knob control of echo delay time.
Soft takeover between tap tempo and knob control. Tap the footswitch, its delay time is in control. Move the knob, the knob delay time is in control. Move freely between the two controls.
True Bypass, Active Bypass and Active “Trail” Bypass, letting you hear the echo trail after switching to bypass mode.
Mix from 100% Dry, 50/50 Mix to 100% Wet.
Tone Equalization control.
Specially tuned flat feedback response to below 100 Hz.
Excess Feedback includes a limiter in the feedback loop for infinite sustain echo without annoying feedback howl.
The combination of feedback limiter, tilt tone filter and modulation options make this a wild synthesized tone generator. No input is necessary except a dummy jack to activate the power circuit.
LFO Speed and Modulation Depth controls and modulation enable switch.
Wide range of LFO modulation shapes: sine, square, sample & hold and diffusion
Diffusion is an exclusive mode never before heard from any BBD delay, spreading the sound into a “cloud-like” atmosphere.

No. No it did not.

But it's too late now. The EHX Deluxe Memory Boy, the 80 Tape stuff, Moog, Chase Bliss...probably others I can't think of...kinda did this whole thing.

Yeah exactly. Eight years ago it would have been mindboggling. Now it's just sort of "well of course your boutique delay does that"

Yep, as far as I know there was just a prototype and A LOT of furum hype. At the time it could've been a game changer, but it didn't take long before their momentum passed and a dozen other pedal companies came out with similar or even better delay peds...:idk:

When the sneak attack was announced and nothing happened the following months...I actually started to worry it was another 919 scenario. Really gassing for this one.

ok, so lately the only thing i've wanted my guitar to sound like is a violin, and i'm no yngwie (nor do i want to be tbh). i just want to get easy swells without practicing that much.

did anyone get this? how is it?

Ummm...e-bow... :idk:

Or get a volume pedal and do manual swells (definitely allows for more flexibility than rocking your guitar's VOL pot).

i have ebow and i suck using it. it takes a looooooong ass time to swell things and if i want to play another sound, it'll take another long ass time every time. also, my guitar has only 4 strings, so the ebow doesn't "fit" the spacing as well as with six strings.

i have a vol ped, but i hate to be tied to it while playing. it's also more work than just stomping on a slow gear. :idk:
i think i kinda dig the tremolo possibilities with this as well. i don't know. it'll probably not work the way i want it to once i get it.

I think there are a few options for that violin swell.

The Avalanche Run gives a really satisfying bowed swell.
But that would be a waste of a reverb / delay pedal.

I haven't played the Sneak Attack but it (or something like it) should get you what you're going for.
Can't think of any others off the top of me head though
