The one mega redeeming quality though is using cassettes vs the pretty pricy replacement cartridges for somethjng like a Fulltone TTE.
I'd definitely buy one if I were loaded, but until then there are plenty of things I'd rather spend that amount of money on.
another $30 for shipping to USA.

The thing is that the 'plex carts (on the TTE and regular plex) can be handloaded by anyone with a half a clue who can splice tape for eternity.
I used to reload my Echoplex carts back in the dark days of the late 80s/early 90s when Harris/Teller never fucking had any.

Why don't one of the ILF homies build one of these? I can't imagine it's overly complicated. I mean, maybe it is, but it doesn't seem like it would be.
Fuck you could make a killing here building a gnarly ass echo/delay like that.

I think it sounds amazing. Awesome that is uses cassettes too. It's too expensive for me, especially with the foot switch, but I reckon it's probably worth every penny.

Issue realistically is finding a source on reliable decks that share common schematics, then modifying industrial PCBs and plastic cases.
A giant pain in the ass from what I know of it.

Yeah it honestly looks like a helluva lot of work to make these things. The body mods and cosmetic changes alone look like they're very carefully considered—at first I almost thought it was just riffing on the Marantz look vs. modding existing units.

Necro-ing to say that these are apparently available tonight and I fucking want one...I technically have the money, but I was saving it for several other things. I wouldn't be getting the footswitch, but seriously, why does this thing have to be so expensive?!
Space Case TE-1 vs 856 for Zellerzasn, Matrise, and probably some cash to spare?

Dude yeah I'd get something else. That thing's way cool, but maybe get on the Limbo list? New batch coming soon.
I'm still all for this thing, but dammit it's too much money.

Honestly, that's very much the direction I'm leaning. I don't think I can ever justify dropping that much cash on an effect, even when I have that much cash sitting in my PayPal. I honestly haven't checked out the In Limbo yet. Maybe I should do that

Yeah I was late to check it out as well, and the clips I heard changed my plans—I'd previously been thinking of getting a digital multi delay kind of thing (Nemesis, etc). Really, really cool.

Been interested ever since I saw Ruiner's board.
How much are they, anyway?
I've yet to actually see a solid price on it.

Haha seems the price is conspicuously absent from the site now, probably because people were wigging about it. I think it's like 8 hundo. Not including footswitch.

Feh.
I have a million tape decks lying around my basement.
I suppose I'll just try DIY-ing it.

This much:

Don't know why buy their sale page is all secretive and hidden. Probably because of the price.
