Haha. Contrary to your belief I kindof hate Pitchfork. They gave Mumford & Sons' debut album Sigh No More a 2.1. It's one of my favourite albums, actually. Like, accounting for reviewer tilt, I'd give it a 9.0. Their last album was fucking shit though. I'll just say in advance that I was being facetious. The real reason I lost interest in SPIN is because after Klosterman stopped editing it and Greenwald stopped writing for it... maybe 2005?... (a) the overall quality went downhill, and more importantly for me (b) it stopped focussing on emo and pop-punk and started focussing on Brooklyn-ish indie. Not my thing.
It would be like if Sheffield left Rolling Stone. What's the point... you think fucking Hedegaard is gonna carry your rag? Bitch, please.

Anyway I haven't heard Gensho but my suspicion is that it won't hold a candle to Rock Dream or Sun Baked Snow Cave.
