Re: Walrus Audio - Luminary
Colour scheme is a bit weak, but they do not-so-special editions all the time. I've never experienced noise with them, but I have a Descent and it just feels quiet all the time. It probably isn't, but something about it just feels a bit off. Either way, smaller POG2 for similar price, could be okay if it doesn't have the same volume problems.

Kinda reminds me of this -

Artist bailed, "fine, i'll do it MYSELF" sort of 2004 photoshop dad vibes.

Agreed this design makes me sad when all their others are so good !echorec wrote:Side-stepping the Luminary vs POG debate...I can't be the only one who thinks this is hideous, right? ----Red, black, and silver is great I guess, if you're from Jawjuh and enjoy cliched, tacky-looking, designed-at-the-mall type of stuff.

Walrus had carved out a distinct design aesthetic I've appreciated for years, from afar.ThorZ wrote: Agreed this design makes me sad when all their others are so good !
This one looks like some higher-up let their toddler scribble on a prototype at bring-your-kid-to-work-day.
