Nobels odr-1

Interstellar overdrive is pretty low gain too.

RMA Tetanus Booster should be mentioned too.

I want one of these to stack with Mini. One for lower gain and both together for medium gain angry times.

I don't like the look of RMA (I made a google search to know what it is).

Interstellar od is a good option too.

No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

I'm in the same boat. I've decided on a Shoe Savior Machine.

It's a lot different than I thought it would be honestly. It has a ton of volume, doesn't saturate clip that heavily, and it really fattens the tone the more the volume is dialed up (which is what I didn't expect...it also get some nice fizzle/fuzzy undertones that are just enough for character). Personally, it might eat the tone of the mini up. It really overbeared itself on my 88 and Nu-Fuzz (and other things)...but it stacks well and sounds nice and fat...just character can get lost into it.

I think it sounds great on its own though and use it for so many different things (mic preamp, signal splitter, gain leveling/matching, overdrive, boost). Thing is amazing (as is the dirty doper).

Not yet, it's on the top of my list as I said in my first post.

ahh sorry I missed that! I highly recommend it, i've kept mine around for like 3 years. I liked a lot more than the mini, but I don't think a lot of people seem to hold that viewpoint.

I looked this up and it seems quite promising?

I like my barber ltd sr for low gain toan, but it has actually had to take a back seat recently. Now I mostly use a medium set algal bloom with volume rolled off for my lower gain.

I really love minimum fuss, clean ODs with loads of headroom that you can set and ignore as an always-on. Something that only does one thing really well. This fits the bill perfectly for me and looks like it will stack amazingly with all my fuzz and weird stuff too. Recommended five out of five, AYE

I play mostly clean too and use a Pork Loin. It's great because it has a clean preamp blend, so you can turn the drive all the way down, the blend up, and the level to taste. Does wonders to single coils. You can get them for $120 or so used. I got mine for $80 used because I am extremely cool and smart.

Planning building a small board for a second band that i just started playing in. Was just looking at the overdrive section and this might seem to fit the bill very well. Was also looking at barbershop too actually.

Yeah, the rusted steel look is not for everyone. Some of my enclosures are also over-large, which can also be construed as a negative. I've been thinking a little about supporting a wider aesthetic, I'm curious what you would change regarding the look.

That said, we're just talking about the shell which is a total variable, If you like the way something sounds the circuit can be stuck inside just about anything.
