the reason the DC-2 works so well is because the there are no knobs though, it's a 'dimensional' pedal, you don't need to tweak it, it sounds good on any mode and is supposed to be subtle (even with no tweaking it's not that recognizable, it just makes shit sound cool in the same way as using a nice compressor or whatever)

i definitely think there's room for a new chorus pedal from them though, something along the lines of fusing BBD's and complex filtering/stereo functionality like the DC-2 but with digital LFO's and the possibility to fuck shit up

it was supposed to be a 'special edition' line of pedals with supposedly a lot of extra testing and attention to detail, refining their well-regarded older circuits and adding extra functionality
but now we have this amp and a TU-3 waza so i dunno what the fuck is going on, haha

Yeah, though you might argue that some of their best/weirdest pedals are sadly not in production anymore.
My current synth board currently has 5 pedals, 3 of them are Boss (two PS-3 and one RV-3), and I also use a BF-2, DD-20, GE-7, DSD-2, DSD-3...

Why the fuck are they called Waza anyway? That sounds lika a cheap Yugi-Oh (spelling?) ripoff and makes me feel old.

技 (Waza) is Japanese for technique, skill what have you.

BOSS pedals do sound pretty good for the most part though. Also they are built like a tank. I've had many boutique pedals of dubious quality pass through but my BOSS pedals work as good as they did 20 years ago. I was hoping they were getting back on track with the Waza line but now I'm not so sure.

Yea, the VB2 had me hoping they were developing a clue again.

But wazatuner makes me question the whole concept.
