If I didn't have a whammy 5, ps5, microsynth and two synth wahs I'd be all over this.
Other than the vibrato what's the difference between the synth wah and the dirty robot?

Way more controls, the Drift Knob (blends square wave with sub/octave/sub&octave), modulation, true bypass, stereo I/O.

So why the stomp versus the traditional approach to the whammy? Also, will there be a bass version?

People have been asking us for a stripped-down 'Whammy Jr." for over a decade, the Ricochet is what I envisioned as a "Whammy Jr."
Also, will there be a bass version?
Maybe, if there is enough demand.

jesus it's weird hearing a synth wah that tracks properly and doesn't keep retriggering itself unintentionally

Yeah the re-triggering thing was irritating. The Sens Knob on the Dirty Robot has a much more usable sweep, you won't re-trigger unless you want to.

i mean, i loved it, as did others, because pedals like that are fun to wrangle with and create glitchy chaos. it's honestly one of the best mass produced pedals for that kind of thing IMO.
if you turn up the sens knob enough is it as sentient as the synth wah? if it was able to track nicely for the majority of people that want that but simultaneously get into super glitch territory that would be really awesome.
