I'm kind of wanting to jump that ship too. I mean, I love my TL, but there is something about the Nemesis that just tickles. Plus like the OP said, many of the presets are just rubbish. There probably will never be a pedal that doesn't have any rubbish presets, but the quota on the Nemesis seems to be better. I should go look for it in a music store but liking it will get me into a lot of trouble...

The presets on almost anything aimed at wide market are going to be mostly garbage. I use 1-2 per hundred presets on any of my given devices at most, they're just there to show you how to do things.

Agreed. I use one of the presets on my Space, the rest are self-made. Nemesis looks cool. I'm just too much in love with my Echo Degrader still.

I love my Echo Degrader and Limbo II, but seem to be always on the lookout for a straight up digital delay with major tweakability to compliment those warm ferocious analog guys.

I'm with you. I do have a Particle and a BitQuest on the board as well, but as you say, they don't offer major tweakability (when talking non-superweird sounds).

presets-schmeesets.

I mean "delay engines", perhaps? Shit like the "Ice" setting on the Timeline. You can tweak the parameters of it but really it is utter crap that cannot be made to shine in anything other than poo-light.

The nemesis has the shifter mode instead of a stupid shimmer mode, which actually sounds fantastic, yup can set the pitch. Shift from one octave down to one no. Octave up plus really fast modulation is in jam in that setting.

Isn't that most of the pre-sets on the Timeline? LOL! One of the most forgettable delays I've had. The Mobius and Big Sky are awesome though, which makes no sense. I think the Timeline sucks. The Boss DD 500 kills both though.

I tried a Nemesis when I was at NAMM 2015 and it was awesome, but I agree with the preset thing. God I hate changing shit though. I'm so lazy. LOL

The DD 500 is awesome and you can do a ton of shit without an extra interface. Not sure if you'd need a computer based program for it. I get the appeal though.
Ipad aps bullshit is the bane of my existence. I refuse to ever own a smartphone, so fuck me, I guess?

Thing that pisses me off is Source said when the Nemesis was getting teased for a year there would be a PC app.

So did Boss in the original DD-500 video.

Well fucking Eventide said their would be an Android App and they never did it for th H9. LOL!! Talk about isolating your market.

It's weird when they don't follow through.

Yea, it's crazy stupid.

I can't imagine porting any of this stuff to anything is exactly hard, and the PC/Mac editors give you a bulwark against cellphone bricking the app with OS changes - "you can still use that, as long as you use Win/Mac OS 666!"

A) That is gorgeous.
B) I am now following you on Instagram
QR75) You have reignited my Ct5 GAS, and inspired me to want a Nemesis to boot.

I think I might miss the swell setting of the TL.
Is there any way to ghetto this with the Nemesis without the use of an EXP pedal? In the demo they make a swell sound by controlling the input volume with an expression pedal, but I have paired swell with a pedal controlled filter for a couple of songs we play, so I would need some way to do this without an expression pedal. And getting a dual expression like the Mission is out of the question, I can't afford that.
