I need someone to critique the logistics of a simple project

Okay, so I talked to guy today and we are a go for this project. Now I just need to order the components and enclosure, and bring it all in.

I need a little help though. How do I determine which pots I need to order for the Dano? They look a bit weird, and different from the usual ones that you see. Thanks in advance.

Look up a schematic for the tone machine and replace with those values...or measure the pots inside.

lets see, it's just three 50KB pots (aka 50K linear) for the danelectro french toast. If you'll be using knobs with a screw set you're probably best getting this type: http://www.taydaelectronics.com/50k-ohm ... -lugs.html

For the voltage starve mod, I am referring to this resource: http://tonereport.com/blogs/do-it-yours ... starvation.

I can make a little sense of those diagrams, but just so I am sure: for a voltage sag mod, do I just need to purchase a potentiometer with the right value to get the effect I want?

As the person who wrote that article seems to prefer 100k pots for that mod, I was just going to go for the same thing. Is there some other component that I am overlooking, or is the pot it?

Alright guys, voting time. Which knob layout looks better?

You sticking foot switches in there too? I'd advise not committing a mock up without those (to allow clumsy feet a safe zone).

That said, I prefer lines over clusters - but that's just like, my opinion, man.

Yeah, two footswitches. If I go with the lines (which is what I'm leaning towards myself), I'm considering maybe putting a metal rail between the footswitch and the knobs on the right. Kind of like those cheap Aroma pedals



But vertical instead of horizontal.

But, I feel like there will be enough room to not have to worry about it. Though, no way of knowing for sure until the footswitches arrive.
