V1 was unusable in my opinion. Just noise and random notes and chaos, some might like it, but it's not how the synth/octave pedal should work.
I got DLX and it's so much better. I never found a point of having all the filter controls, but it can sound massive. I use it for bass synth sounds mainly and I'm impressed. Sometimes it can sound too dark so I keep distortion after it to add harmonics. No idea how it works with guitar though.

I bought it wanting a polyphonic pitch shifter. This is not the pedal for that.

I got the v.1 for ILFmas. It's a cool pedal for sure, but as others have noted, might not be your thing if you're not into glitching and weirdness. That being said, I haven't had any problems getting fat octaves down that track pretty well across the neck. It has a lot to do with picking dynamics. The fifths are semi-hard to get right.

You can get some really fun results hitting it with fuzz, especially something heavily gated like a Wolf Computer. Got the Lightning Bolt-toan that's stuck in my head with that combo.

it really doesn't track too well, but dude.. those subs are unruly. if I was after something more stable/aimed polyphonic stuff, I'd look elsewhere, but this pedal is super rad at what it does IMO. the deluxe is equally as cool, but has a bit of a different timbre and isn't as boomy. but I love them for reasons people hate apparently eivind nailed it

Is the second voice v2 similar sounding to the deluxe voice? and the second voice v1 similar to the original analogue harmony synth then?

i've got the harmony synth and its pretty incredible in so many different ways. Love the gated fuzz it has. Being able to run dual different harmony/octaves is SO awesome, and I can get a really wide range of responses depending on how I set the individual range knobs. That sensitivity/tracking knob is rather useful too for getting different behavior. Really wanted to have mine upgraded with CV control but she came out with the deluxe instead having CV control over both Range knobs would have been REALLY nice. It tracks pretty good on single notes depending on how I set it up regarding the Range knobs for frequency and Sensitivity knob for dynamics. There's also some internal pots, one specifically has an immediate effect on how well or not it tracks for different pups etc. I think it really shines in how well I can set it up to NOT track in its different ways, getting glitchy is the best Compared to my other PLL circuit pedals its quite tame, but there's nothing else quite like it either. Just love it.

Probably going to grab the deluxe some day...but wonder if its worth trying the second voice v1/v2 if they are indeed just stripped down versions of the big guys, as i suspect
