zebranalogic also?
If I wanted information about zebranalogic, yes. That would be for a different thread.

I just got my WS in the mail a few days ago. Its a little passive audio clipping/distortion device. Its working amazingly with my synth rig (Korg EMX-1). It sounds a lot like when you hit a tape recorder with too hot of a signal. I'm pretty much using it on every song to add a bit of grit and lo-fi charm to everything. Its a really cool little piece of kit for $30. I was feeling awfully inquisitive so I opened her up an there's only 3 parts in there! Two diodes and an electrolytic capacitor. Pretty interesting.I might build a second for myself for some dual stage clipping...
Heres my little rig.

Just need to add a Devi but I can't decide...

Ever tried it with guitar or bass?

I did. I ran it after my Mellowtone Clean/Dirty Chan. It adds what sounds like a soft clipping overdrive to the clean boost and it darkens the tone a bit. You have to hit it a bit hard to get a noticeable effect but it sounds great. Might be good to have in a true bypass loop...

Same thing here, I got mine a couple days ago, I'm trying to sort it out.
Running clean through my guitar, it's VERY subtle. VERY.
However, put either before or after my Big Muff it EATS it ALIVE!

What does it do to it?

Clean, it just trims either the top or the bottom of the wave off, so it JUST polishes offthe other side...
So if I have the knob cranked to the side that kills the high part of the waveform, the bottom gets better.
The other knob is just a lil distoriton thingy.
When cranked through my Big Muff, it just eats my amp...
