If you're not considering putting them together yourself, you might want to consider Jerrostomp (Reverb, Etsy, etc.) Jerry is one of the nicest guys I've ever spoken with, and he'll do custom orders. He'll typically do pancake ends with Mogami 2319

i'd say every cable other than a hand soldered standard sized plug with standard gauge cable is a gamble to be honest.

I've yet to have an EBS crap on me, and I have a mix of old and new style. Admittedly, since getting the Patchulator, I don't unplug them nearly as much. But, for me, the benefit outweighs the risk.

cost + benefit > risk for sure on the EBS cables.
