Wow this thing sounds really neat.

1. Yes, an expression option with Mix blend would be great.

2. At any point is the modulation random? I would loooooooove to have a waveform on this pedal that was unpredictable (maybe like the modulation on Fairfield's Meet Maude!)

The selfmodulating FM is very responsive to playing dynamics/input (see my demo). While not random, it's very easily controlled.
