Suki da! ^
Maltine Records has a bunch of sweet stuff, this is sort of on a sub-label/collab project though. They're basically an internet label who releases a lot of really cool fringe electronic pop with glitchy/pitched vocals, among other things.
None of this is like average anime-theme-song J-POP, I guess. But I don't really like that stuff anyway. Not that I've delved through much of it... If I listen to any sort of pop music, I prefer it to have a strong electronic/dancey vibe.
Some interesting music in this thread, though. I'll probably dip in from time to time and check out more. I do feel a certain fascination for modern Japanese culture.

Maltine has released some amazing stuff, I only found them not too long ago through LLLL and Zoom Lens label they collab with which is also cool, really need to dig through all those releases properly sometime soon.
LLLL are tight as hell

Hell yeah, very nice! Zoom Lens also seems like a very good and prolific label, listening to random stuff on their bandcamp right now. Breakcore! (or J-core?)
DEEP GIRL are pretty much slipknot but all japanese schoolgirls. So basically the best thing in the entire world. Peep the BRUTAL TWO STEP @ 1:14
