Seems highly unlikely

I want more too! They've had some of the most staying power of any music from my early days. Don't listen to them often but every time it's great and I'm often noticing new little things I really dig. :hobbes:

I like ATDI.

I'm excited about this.

Well I hope it doesn't suck. Getting to see Omar play with Bosnian Rainbows made sitting through the changeover from Tera Melos (who were equally as good in a different way) worth it at riot fest a few years back. Of course Teri still stole the fucking show, but Omar's loud ass guitaring made it special.

Anxious to see what happens here :idk:

It could be shit you know... like Antemasque

Slightly bigger budget Antemasque with even less enthusiasm, I'd imagine. Remember when Cedric gave up his old voice and turned into a creepy Scientologist Phantom of the Opera vocalist?
Jon Theodore sacking weirdos.

Dude, just get it over with and post a list of your -cores taxonomy. Maybe an infographic if you're bored.

But...that clip sounds really rad. Drums sounded light years ahead of what was happening on RoC...which was one of the things that made the first Volta record sound so great (the better drumming, I mean). I'm pumped for this, even if I know that blasting it in my office loud enough to rattle my tie clip probably won't have the same effect as blasting it their older stuff over a PA in a basement before my band played did. Such is life.

you "Saucy pedantic wretch" you. Just think of it as a sort of glossolalia and you'll be fine.

And to keep spraying lighter fluid on the fire Antemasque is better than Bosnian Rainbows, and is also better than pre-ROC ATDI.

Can we talk about how great of an album El Gran Orgo is? It's never mentioned when people bring up ATDI but it's damn fine.

I don't really care too much about ATDI, and even less about TMV...but if they're feelin' it, sure, I could think of worse reunions. That teaser sounds good, especially without vocals.

Yeah I really like the Blink 182 cover at the beginning.

Wasn't Omar working on the second antemasqe album? I'm skeptical bordering on cynical about this. Why?

 :thumb:

But, really, I would love to see that. I think you wrote about crescendo-core or something, which made perfect sense...but is so ridiculous.

Gnarlcore
Rocquefortcore
Humblecore
Wisconsincore

Antemasque seemed so tame, but I really don't like much early ATDI, either. Vaya was pretty cool, but that was at the tail-end, right (too lazy to look it up)? Acrobatic Tenement was unremarkable...In/Casino/Out had some cool stuff...I thought Bosnian Rainbows blew (blowed)? That first Volta record was awesome, though. Wish Cedric didn't sing at all on it.

Also...no mention of Sparta in this thread? Is it because they kinda sucked?

This will always be a true statement, no matter what you use to fill in the blank.
