But seriously, I think that diagram pretty much helped me over what the book was referring to as "power rails", and I now "get it". So thanks a lot. Still, don't know what +24 is referring to, but I'm sure if I keep trucking and you nice people keep being nice, then I'll be moving along nicely in the amp field.

My knowledge is so limited it's laughable. Learn every day, we all know nothing. hahahaha

I pulled +24 out of the air as an example that has nothing to do with what you asked, I was probably polluting the waters at that point.
