:)
Consulted with someone as to not make the same pedal, as I messaged them saying I had already gotten boards and cases with the Left Hand Path name and that was when we discussed it so we wouldnt release a pedal too similar.
But I had mine working and done before everyone else.
Yes.
The 1st one I did, the Enormous Door LHP was done, prototyped up and assembled at the 2013 SXSW show and on the demo board, along with an additional pedal that would have made it 10 knobs.
This was played by said persons employee and builder, who begged me to show them the guts of it after hearing it.
I declined to show them the guts as I was still keeping it secret.

I released the Enormous Door LHP 3 weeks later in its final version, beating all 6 knob HM2s to the market by a period of 7 months.
There is no debate about this and the other builder agrees.

The Left Hand Wrath is my own thing with my own modifications to the circuit.

Any "controversy" is forum stupidity and really has no place existing.

The level of customers and bands using it speaks for itself, there is no equal.
That is about the response I expected. I remember when you posted here last time, as Enormous Door, spamming the Left Hand Path (as it was known then). Nice to see that you've got a better company name now but, apparently, still a similar reticence to acknowledging other builders who may or may not have helped you, allegedly. :)

Who are you?

Since I guess I have to explain myself: I'm curious about this because I've read a lot of stuff from forum members (who are, you know, builders and musicians that I respect) about LWA, and not all of it has been super flattering. It's nice to hear what someone directly involved has to say about something like that, especially when it's not a voice that's been around here very often in the past.

But you're right I'm sure it's just shitposting. :)

Agreed. Super nice guy. And he will totally go out of his way to help you. I think its like anything, sometimes people have bad days. You are so right. The waiting is the hardest part, to quote Tom Petty.

the OG unit was in fact pushing the fabled 50+DB, while the outsider pushes 35-38DB
I am about to have all the final revisions done on the matching INSIDER very soon, so check that out when its ready.
Stoked you dudes all dig the pedals.

Is it wrong to love reading this ?

@Lone Wolf FX : Are you self taught in building pedals ? For me as a guitar player, the hardest part I have is creating the sound I hear in my head. Do find the same challenge when making pedals?

@D.o.S.
If anyone "helped me" then surely they would have been able to release something on the level of the new LHW DLX by now?

Its my design.
end of story.

I have a degree in mechanical engineering, and CADD 3d design.
I taught myself the electronics end more or less.

to some its easy, but to me I always want it to be different, and do more unique things than other things on the market.

Fair enough.

So this new Systech will be of the +50ish db variety?

No, the Insider is more or less a 1:1 of the systech Harmonic Ovderdriver.

The outsider is a modified Harmonic Energizer so that its more easily used by someone not familiar with the original.

2 totally different pedals

the new pedal's the Insider, right?

Which would make the answer "yes", per the "pushing the fabled 50db" description you gave earlier, right?

The Outsider is the one that I am gonna have him mod to put out 50db like the original, it also needs a little more range particularly on the low end to allow more sub-harmonic content through.

He also stated he was going to do a limited 2-in-1 with both, including a high output version of the Outsider.

That'd be the Twin Snake

http://lonewolfaudio.bigcartel.com/prod ... -pre-order

Just pre-ordered, extra features look fantastic:

from Joe, hope he doesn't mind, my first LWA pedal

"It depends with the twin snake , it has a rotary headroom voicing on the insider side and a rotary depth on the outsider side so the dual has more options than the 2 separate.

Also the ability to patch route them through your board is a big plus "

He's having an Xmas special too.
