And it lasts 78 minutes. Who the fuck wants to listen to an album for 78 minutes? Unless it's Load of course. Fuckin' LOAD!
"2 x 4" is a genuine banger. An anthem even.
Is this an earnest post or not.

The bit about 2 x 4 was earnest. Really great song.
Bad album though. Maybe if they cut the Load/Reload sessions down to about 6 tracks, you could put together a reasonable EP. There's a few other decent tracks between the two, though none of them have a lick on 2 x 4.
It's mad that they thought they had enough solid material to release two albums worth of songs. Cocaine. Hell of a drug.

Hetfield should have quit Metallica and just started his own country project.
That would have been fucking tits.
Instead we got Load.
And then fucking Reload.
And then fucking Garage Inc.
The only album that matters is Great Southern Trendkill, but you guys put in a solid effort pretending like other shit was important.
I am so late to this party my bitterness is all I have left to bring.
Sorry.

I've always thought 2x4 was a direct byproduct of having Kyuss open for them for a tour leg but it's definitely a cut above the rest of the material.

Viva La Woman, which recent Birthday-haver Jrmy turned me onto last year (two years ago?) is also 20 this year.

Gotta appreciate how committed Anal Cunt is to the whole 2Edgy4u-song-titles-longer-than-the-*music*-made-for-junior-highschoolers aesthetic

Fuck '96 was a great year for music! Filth Pig is enough to make it a good year but Roots, Ænema, THE PROCESS!
