Pitch shifting is my favorite
the Glitch on a whammy 2 is hard to beat although the 4 comes close
PS-6 is friggen dope, up and down dives at the same time almost gets you that beginning of the movies sound
Have had PS-2-3and5 and Loved em all some crazy sounds on em
Currently use a p-factor and it's prolly all you need
also have an HR-2 which is killer

have owned OG Pog Pog-2 Micro and the like all good OG Pog is hard to duplicate
organizer was cool but didn't like to hammer dirt the way a pog does
I can get all the Pog sounds on the P-factor though

Thing I like about the P-factor is that it takes dirt and slams dirt equally well

oh and since I must mention this at least once a week
The digitech timebender does some crazy pitch shift stuff
as do the red panda delays if you want to get really weird

Yea, Timebender does in fact do it, although generally I go with the GT-001 for that type of pitch shift these days unless I want something simple or additional (given I have a half dozen pitch shift capable units in line)

It is possible I've not discovered how to do it and I am totally wrong, but my experience with the timebender it didn't seem possible to do the feedback pitch shifting that the PS-2/3 can do. It will pitch up or down the repeats to one or two intervals of the original signal and keep them bouncing around those notes, though it can do interesting and beatiful arpeggios that are more predictable than just infinitely going up by an eyeballed/ear tuned interval. I really want to try the Timebender in front of a PS-2 or 3 to see what happens with the different styles of pitch shifting.

I have the OC-2, it's cool, don't know if I still like it really, I know it is THE octave pedal for many bassists but I never felt particularly inspired by it and will either continue keeping it for sentimental reasons or I will flip it.

I have the original HOG still as well. It is also cool, I love some of the things it does, and the freeze function with separate dry and wet outs does some crazy fucking organ things and nice pads, but like the OC-2, it never felt like a forever thing. I have a superego that feels more permanent. Will probably flip the HOG, unless I continue being sentimental.

The whammy 4 sounds disgusting, in a good way. I want to try the new bass whammy someday.

How do those H9 Max pedals work? That can do everything a Pitchfactor can do, yes?

Eventide goes right over my head LOL
