Re: Most fun pedal
I guess you can't say a looper, right? Otherwise the M9 looper (started with a DL4 a few years back) is what I've enjoyed the most.
On my "band-board" I'd say my Diamond MLN2, just cause oscillation-wise there's probably not a pedal I've used more for randomness through the years. And besides, delays are always cool!
As far as value for money I'd recommend the Dr Scientist Bit quest, simply cause there's so much in it, both "ordinary" and "spaced out" sounding.
Dwarfcraft GEARS is really nice too if you want weird synth/filter/oscillating madness. But yeah, probably the Bit Quest if I have to pick one.

Taping an LDR to a gain LED (like on moog pedals) and then using that as the exp controller on the cyber psychic is a blast too.DRodriguez wrote:LAL Cyber Psychic with an expression pedal is insanely fun.
If that doesn't count because of the expression pedal, then the Penny Pedals Digital pulse because it's a fuzzy, 8-bit-y, LFO swirly, synthy, and 100% bundle of all natural fun in a box.
Most fun pedal? Ring Mod....Moog or Sick Pitch King all time. Lately been having a lot of fun with the Warmjet V and the memory loss

Re: Most fun pedal
Besides dirt and a compressor, I consider every pedal I have on my board to be fun. I have a Behringer us600 (whammy fun), m9 (all around fun), bitQuest (interesting sounds fun), Particle (glitchy fun), SMMH (looping and multi-tap fun), and timebender (delays and pitch shifting fun).
I know a lot of people have recommended the bitQuest, but I end up having the MOST fun with the timebender. I might be biased because it's my most recent addition, but having the ability to set the exact pitches and rhythm of your delays, not to mention within the confines of a key, leads to so many different possibilities.
I might also recommend the m9 for the sheer amount of things you can do, and the cool looper.
Although if you go with the bitQuest you're supporting an awesome small shop husband and wife duo, instead of a major company, so there's also that to consider.

Re: Most fun pedal
Big thing on the Time Bender also is the ability to set specific faux head gap/taps with the tap tempo and it having six taps available.
Very few units let you have that level of control - it's not quite the venerable Quadraverb+'s multitap...but...for ease of use and options, it's grand.

Re: Most fun pedal
The m9 can be crazy fun, I spent a couple hours with one today. It needs an expression pedal!
Pitchfactor is probably the funnest I have played.
As far as fuzz, TGD rules them all.

Recovery Effects Cutting Room Floor. Lots of weird sounds in it, lots of normal nice sounds.
I really like pedals that have a parameter that is dynamic, makes the pedal seem more like an instrument itself.
