Static Age is better than anything Danzig (or any of the Misfits) was involved in later...which is why I think it took so long to actually release...they were scared everyone would just stick with that album and realize how much garbage they put out.

Man-Machine is better than Trans-Europe Express. The Mix is a pretty good remix album. Radioactivity might be the best Kraftwerk album?

Christ the Album is still the best Crass album...(don't care what you say gnomethrone  )

Worlds Apart is the best Subhumans album and way better than The Day the Country Died. EP-LP is great too, but it is a collection...Going to see them tonight (honestly everything they did was great).

SoniCRIME Therapy could have been a legendary album...but the mixing is terrible (even for that Japanese overblown terrible sound...there is something that doesn't work well with stereos and headphones with it... :idk: )...like it doesn't want to be played loud (either it is too compressed or you can't hear it). Maybe it was the master for CDs that screwed up? Maybe they tried to hard to get the old sound?

Guitar Wolf albums all run together for me, which is good and bad. I can't tell them apart if except for the title track...haha (aybe just the older ones more). I love 'em though.

Every Culture Shock album is better than every Citizen Fish album (though Free Souls in a Trapped Environment might be tied in greatness with Culture Shock albums).

The Ramones' End of the Century isn't that bad. Not good though...but not as bad as people say.

Britney Spears' last album is better than Taylor Swift's last album.

Third Eye Blind (1997) is one of the best albums of the '90s and of Britpop in general, and goes toe-to-toe with anything by Blur or Oasis

Other '90s alt-rock albums that are better than you think: Dizzy Up The Girl, New Miserable Experience, Live Through This, Bringing Down The Horse

Speaking of Britpop, Blur's Parklife (1995) just isn't that good, people... time to let it go
..

Sometimes i wonder if its me trolling you or is it you trolling me.....

PERDITION CITY is the best electronic album ever recorded. Ulvers progressive output is far better than the early metal stuff. Blood inside is better than nattens madrigal.

All of Wilcos albums are garbage because wilco are garbage.

Torche couldn't put together an entire album without at least three dogshit tracks to save their lives.

Sunbather was just ok.

Grand deceleration of war was a great album and people that disliked it are sweaty peasants.

Dusk and Her Embrace was better than the entire Norwegian black metal scene.

this post has huge ups and downs for me

but one point I'd take even further - totally agree about Ulver. Them doing metal was decent but then all of the other shit happened and it's just beyond me how ridiculous that band is. There are still hits and misses for me, but overall they're unbelievable. And the Norwegian Opera live double LP must be one of my favourite records I've ever bought and it's a nonfuckwithable experience to listen to it on big speakers

Oh and to really stay on topic - Shadows of the Sun is a fucking incredible album

Fun House is better than Raw Power
Velvet Revolver's Contraband is better than anything GNR did.

The first one I go back and forth on. The second one is pretty much indisputable because Scott Weiland sings circles around Axl.

I like Atilla Csihar better than Dead on most of the De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas tracks.

Ordo Ad Chao may be Mayhem's best record.

The only other good shit Dave Grohl has been on since In Utero has been Probot's stuff and anything with Josh Homme.

Fun House is way better than Raw Power to me. They are both killer, though.

Panopticon by Isis is nowhere near as good as Celestial or Oceanic.

Come, My Fanatics is superior to Dopethrone.

Cold Lake by Celtic Frost has some killer tracks on it.

Eric Clapton's first solo record doesn't hold a candle to anything Cream ever did.

Syd Barrett Pink Floyd > David Gilmour/Roger Waters Pink Floyd

Isn't Anything is much better written record than Loveless.

etc...

I can get down with this. Also CC, while I think that Modern Life is Rubbish is the best of their britpop stuff Parklife is still absolutely the shit. My favorite Albarn thing is actually The Good, the Bad & the Queen which is not to say that I think it's his best or most interesting work (obviously isn't) but man it's bloody pleasant. Snuck it's way into my heart over many long waits for the bus.

Here's one for you, What We Must is easily the worst Jaga Jazzist album.
