I agree with both of you about the goop :( I didn't know about it when I bought the pedal. He's a good chap to buy components from though. It is indeed really impressive for one sound, but having just listened to that Ugly Face pedal that Chankgeez posted, that's way more impressive and creates a wider range of sounds and textures, I'm going to have to look into making one of those! Thanks!

You're welcome. Yeah, I feel like there's probably tons of DIY stuff that would work well for what goroth wants.

Could a ss/BS Year 4545 do something like this? Goroth, have you tried one? There's certainly plenty of crazy available in there...

I've actually got a 4545 and you're right - it does lots! I can't get it to do that enveloped thing though.

I've also got one of these, and it's behaviour is very dependent on your setup. Tone rolled off and neck pickup and it is really synthy. But I hate tone controls and neck pickups, so I don't have either of them in any of my guitars. With a bridge pickup wide open it gets all intermodulated and dissonant and it's great. But it's more like a green ringer than a noise box.

Sunsine audio thinger has been on the gas list a while.

Emailed Tom a few times, most recently a few months ago and he keeps not replying, except to every now and again wonder if he's replied. I've since spent the money I put aside for it and am therefore laying low... :hides:
But that gas is 100% your fault haha!

Hey thanks DA

Nah, I mean the thujone extract. Have been planning a custom with Tom but it's probably not gonna happen.
Yet.

Ah gotcha! Not too well versed in Thom's customs to be honest

although I should probably commission him some day to build something otherwise extremely limited for a special, one time offer
