Lifeline is great. I would listen to more Jesu but the flood of releases around 2010 made it hard to keep up.

I think of JESU like i think of most electronic artists. They get together once every five years and record seven hours worth of the same stuff and just sporadically release sections of it with different names while drinking daiquiris and wearing white pants at different expensive european hotels.

Someone told me to listen to Jesu back in college, and I wanted to dislike it because it sounded dull and stupid. But for whatever reason, I dug it hard. It's like listening to a Swervedriver record at quarter speed.
this is actually awesomely accurate

we've already established that broadrick wears those zip off cargo pants you get out of a carboard box with '$5' written on it in sharpie at a lowes or something, not white pants.

actually even lowes has shelves and racks. Probably more like the old dimmeys upstairs at forest hill chase shopping centre before they became a westfield joint, that was 'closing down' for like five years.

I know right. Fuck gallipoli, when this country really came of age was when we finally got a uniqlo and everyone stopped dressing like absolute shit on casual friday.

Broadrick is prepared for any eventuality. That's why his guitars have those extra strings.

oh I'm not hating on Broadrick's dad pants or eight string guitars, Broadrick is my inspiration for growing old and being a dad but still playing heavy shit.
Also every time I read that maelstrom article I go on ebay and start looking at POD's...
