I'm partial to the venerable Jazz Chorus - check out one of the new JC40s, or one of the oldschool JC50/55/60s that are 1x12, blisteringly loud, and cheap as sin.

I just got a music man combo and tried out my synth with it. Sounded pretty good. 65w with an eminence rock driver cream in it I think?

i know nothing about this speaker and can't even find any solid info on it online. fwiw i didn't crank it up or anything.

I back the JC-120 and Twin Reverb suggestions. Also music man made a 1x15 combo. I almost bought one but was able to haggle on this combo.

Yeah, a Jazz Chorus (probably a 40 or one of the 1x12s) is definitely on my list to try out; I know the reputation but haven't actually played through one. Music Man is a great idea, too. I dig them on both guitar and bass.

i use lots of different amps for keys and honestly, any tube amp that sounds good on guitar will usually work pretty well for gritty keys.
some of my regular combos i use are an ampeg superjet (1x12, 50 watt), ampeg b-15 (1x15, 30 watt), ampeg gemini I (1x12, 22 watt), ampeg gemini gv-22 (2x12, 44 watts), fender twin (2x12 100 watt), fender deville (4x10, 60 watt), orange rockerverb 50 (1x12 and 2x12 versions, 50 watt), satellite amps mudshark (1x12, 34 watt?), a bunch more i can't think of right now but they're all good in different dirty ways.

i'm not as much of a fan of the jazz chorus but it's cool if that's what you're looking for.
