The video isn't just you jizzing on a 2 chip PCB, is it?

Is the patent regarding a jizz resistant PCB? If so, its a good remedy to an issue that has plagued musicians for years.

Will the product also remove jizz buildup on previously encrusted circuitry?

Hey all. I've been pretty busy working on this and my pedals for NAMM, so haven't been by to check the thread. I'll be able to post a vid in the near future!

Here's a preview.. The idea is a retrofitted dial that can be added to pedals without needing to modify them. Has up to 120 hours battery life too and will stay in sleep mode up to a year.

Swiping turns it on/off or holding the sensor will cycle the colour you want to choose. It'll remember that til the batteries run out.

I figure if you were to have one on something like your reverb and another on a boost, It'd be easy to identify the setting at a glance based on different colour selections.

Exhibiting this at NAMM today!

Wait, did I miss something? What exactly does it do? Is it a preset switcher, is it the CV thing as a solo thing?

Love that lightning bolt shaped knob.

edit: Is this the knob technology for the led and swipe thing?

I'm dumb, this is rad. How hard is it to install on a pedal, and how easy is it to change the battery. I'd love these on all my knobs, but I have a feeling that would be crazy expensive.

Cheers! It's been refined down into a pcb, inner part and outer cap. The batteries are 2x lr44's and cheap and easy to install. The cap snaps off and gives you access to them.

It attaches on a pot/encoder up to 6.5mm with a set screw.

The space thing was tricky for me. I got it as small as I could with the best battery life and ability to power multi coloured LEDs, and at this stage it is 24.5mm in diameter, so still able to be used on phase90s, muffs, holy grails etc, but not with things like Boss designs or anything with more than a few dials really.

So basically what it does is change colour to show the position where you prefer the knob to be preset?

This version is only to display to position. The colour change is to decide what pedal, or parameter you are to keep sight of in the dark.

So am I reading this right, installing it is as easy as putting on a new knob? No soldering or wiring needed?

That's pretty amazing.

Do you have an estimated price point for these?

I guess I'm stupid, does that mean it lights up when you hit the point were your preset is at?
It would be cool if you could store different presets in it, otherwise the only thing you have is where the knob is currently set at and where it is at when you turn the knob to where it lights up, or am I missing something?

I believe it's simply a lit indicator, so you can take your manually positioned settings in at a glance in the dark (or light, hey it looks cool). The different colors assist in knowing you are grabbing for a filter sweep or gain control or whatever else you want to be grabbing for instead of something that will crash your sound.

This. It's simply a super awesome indicator knob. Not a controller. All the colors are just choices to set and forget. You hold it down and let it scroll to the one you want and let go. Flick the knob when you are playing to turn it off. Delays are blue? Make that knob blue. Flanges are purple? Make that knob purple, etc.

Such a neat idea. How much???
