You're lucky you don't have as stern a jawline as I do(or the huge shoulders) at least. $40,000 comes off as an awful lot even for FFS. I know you've probably thought about it a lot, but maybe you can do with a view from another Trans person. You'd be surprised how much minor changes can make a difference - you can always go back for more if you really need to, it'd suck, but it wouldn't be the end of the world and there'd be a little less recovery involved.

I always love that kind of reasoning. My favourite is that "Oh you fail so much with girls, you have to be one instead". It makes such perfect logic in their heads.

True story. I had a run-in with him online ages ago ("america online" ages ago) and he sent me a cease and desist for wanting to create a fan t-shirt of which the proceeds were going to help save a local comic book store.

Wow really? If that happened to me I'd hate the guy's stuff, definitely wouldn't take my name form it though names can be fickle like that. I'd love to know how you resolved that internally.
