He probably felt a disturbance in the force. He felt it before it was announced. The half hour waiting to post it here was just getting over the excitement.

They posted a pic of the PCB on instagram a few weeks ago. I was really regretting recently getting a ME Barbershop but knowing that the only difference is the size/lack of footswitch makes me feel better.

Dude the 4eyes is SOOOO awesome. Especially with either an expression pedal or even better with something sweeping through the cv input. It's a lot less "fuzzy" than I expected though, not as extreme as I thought it would be.

I really wish he had put a little on/off toggle switch on it. I love my v1 Barbershop, but I don't leave it on all the time. I thought about buying the v2, but it has the jacks on both sides (instead of all on one side like the v1), so it really doesn't save any pedalboard space compared to the v1.

That would be a dream come true.
Still, great idea for a pedal. Clearly he's listening to his customers. I hear people talking about using their barbershops as the foundation of their tone lots. I never turned my v1 off until I started using my current amp (which has the sort of sparkle and grit I love the barbershop for). V1 will continue to be squeezed onto every board I put together, but I dig this.

For the 5% of users who never turn it off, or those who use TB switchers, it's great. I was tempted, but I'll have to pass, as I'd never leave any pedal always on.

You can just turn the gain down if you don't want t on. Honestly, I can't hear my barbershop until the gain is at noon or higher

That's how I run my Barbershop when I do use it - everything at 10 except for gain which is at 0-1. When it's on it affects the feel/sound do any other pedals that are on in the chain. Sometimes I want that, but def not always.
